It's the day of the super challenge and the Remaining 6 are terrified yet excited at the possibility of getting back into the game. It's going to be a tough challenge as each of them desperately wants those two last spots in the final with Alison, Kirsten, Sam and Garry.

While the Remaining 6 head off to the challenge, the Final 4 train in the gym. None of them are very happy about the prospect of having two 'intruders' back in what they deem as 'their' house. They need to train hard to make sure that whoever makes it back in the house won't shake their resolve in making it to the finale. Alison feels that out of all three teams vying for a place in the finals it's the Michelle-Bryce-Commando combo is the hot favourite, with the Cosi-Nicola-Michelle combo in at a close second.

The Remaining 6 and the trainers arrive at the Super Challenge location: the dreaded sand dunes. Ajay welcomes them to the monstrous sand duns that will be the setting for an epic battle for the last two spots in the game. For the first time ever, the trainers will be competing along side their chosen pair. Michelle says that she wants to get both Cosi and Nicola back in the game, and she doesn't intend to let them down. The Commando is clear about what he needs to do: get Michelle and Bryce back into the game at any cost.

Ajay says that they have all endured enormous obstacles and difficult challenges, but nothing will compare to the hell they are about to undergo. The aim of the challenge is to be the first team to release their flag, which is perched above scaffolding 4 metres high. To reach the flag they will need to use 11 hay bales to construct a step-pyramid high enough to reach the flag. The hay bales are 30 m down the bottom of the sand dune, and in the way are 3 extreme obstacles: a steel bar they need to tunnel under, a wall they'll need to climb, and a final steel bar they also need to tunnel under. They then need to retrieve the hay bales each weighing 15 kg. And to add to the difficulty of the challenge, the teams will be tied together.

All three teams take their marks - each team focused on the hay bales on the other end. The gun fires and all three teams run down the steep embankment of the sand dunes. Team Commando hit an early lead, with The Commando making it under the first steel bar first. But hot on their tails is Team Michelle, closely followed by Team Shannan - they were all definitely neck and neck. At the hay bales Team Commando comes unstuck with the cable keeping them together. This was Team Michelle's opportunity to gain a lead and leap straight into carrying the hay bales. Team Shannan is now trailing the other two teams, who are on a serious lead.

Team Commando decided to carry 5 bales down to the second steel bar and dump them there, to then go back to the top of the dune to retrieve the remaining bales before finishing the challenge. But Team Michelle and Team Shannan were each carrying 6 bales - Team Commando needed to step up and regain their lead.

By this stage the heat of the dunes is starting to fatigue the teams. The hay is breaking their skin, the sand is blowing in their faces and the flies start arriving - this is easily the hardest challenge yet. Both Teams Michelle and Commando have made it under the second steel bar, but Team Shannan was still behind. Sheridan and Shannan both crawl under the bar on their backs, and tell Michael to do the same. But in a fit of complete befuddlement Michael decides to crawl under the steel bar on his stomach and gets stuck under the bar! Team Shannan was definitely on the back foot.

It was down to the final leg of the Super Challenge, with all three teams now needing to carry their precious hay bales up the sand dune. Everyone by this stage is clearly struggling - with Nicola saying that it was refreshing to hear even Michelle struggle during the challenge - makes her more human. Sheridan was struggling to bring her hay bale up the sand dune that she just had to leave it - Shannan would have to come back and pick it up later. Could this stray bale cost Team Shannan the challenge? It's neck and neck at this final stage and all bets are off!
